Job Description:

This is a rewarding frontline role where you’ll support patient care through nutritious meal preparation and delivery.

As a key member of the catering team, your primary focus will be on providing high-quality meals that cater to the diverse needs of patients and staff.

Working in this dynamic environment, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in food safety, infection control, and customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals & drinks to patients and staff.
  • Deliver meals to wards and assist patients during mealtimes.
  • Keep kitchens, equipment, and utensils clean and hygienic.
  • Follow food safety and infection control procedures.
  • Stock ward pantries and rotate food supplies correctly.
  • Work with catering and ward teams to ensure smooth service.
Requirements:
  • 6–12 months’ experience in catering or kitchen environment (healthcare experience an advantage).
  • Knowledge of food safety standards.
  • Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
  • Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
  • Team player, flexible, good communicator.
