Job Title: Project Development Specialist

As a skilled engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering successful engineering projects across the region. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that these projects are aligned with safety standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and sponsors to define clear project goals and objectives.
  • Create realistic and achievable project schedules and timelines.
  • Develop robust project budgets with transparency and precision.
  • Anticipate and assess project risks, define mitigation actions, resolve and escalate issues as needed.
  • Guide scope and change management using a structured approach.
  • Foster open, consistent communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Liaise with internal and external specialists for expert input and insights.
  • Support project start-up and commissioning, ensuring seamless execution.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Chemistry, Mechanical or Process Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Process Engineering within the chemical or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a creative approach to solving complex problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively.
  • Organised, dependable, and self-motivated, yet always ready to contribute to a team effort.
