Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Specialist

This role requires a hybrid work model where you will work from home for 3 days a week and have the option to work from our offices in Dublin or elsewhere.

About This Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Scrum team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by executing automated regression runs and providing testing leadership.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deliver comprehensive test automation scripts from business requirements and functional specifications documents.
  2. Work closely with the scrum master, product owner, architect, business analysts, product specialists, developers, and other project team members to assist in carrying out software quality responsibilities.
  3. Conduct manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests to ensure the quality of our software products.
  4. Identify opportunities for improvement in our QA methodology and innovate by researching and recommending new approaches to automation of testing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in software testing in a process-driven technology environment.
  • Demonstrated experience programming with C#, SQL, and shell scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical test plans.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing automation tests with Silk4Net.
  • Demonstrated experience using test cases, scripts, and automated test tools for verifying requirements on multi-tier applications.
