About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized professional to join our team as a Senior Portfolio Operations Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality reporting packages for clients and internal teams;
  • Collaborate with external counterparties such as fund custodians and investment managers regarding data tie-outs and ad hoc reporting requests;
  • Assist with new client onboarding, audits, and other strategic initiatives;
  • Coordinate with clients and ensure the team is aware of all daily deliverables and expectations;
  • Train and develop portfolio operations staff;
  • Own process improvements and ensure final delivery of solutions;
  • Develop a "big picture" understanding of daily portfolio reporting, system usage, and client delivery;
  • Ensure all timeframes and deliverables meet service level agreements;
  • Prioritize, complete, and delegate tasks while maintaining high-quality customer service;
  • Apply market knowledge and best practices in managing transactions and data flows;
  • Participate in strategic initiatives to develop leadership skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics preferred;
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a related role;
  • Knowledge of loan operations and credit/debt funds;
  • Experience mentoring and managing workloads is preferred;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication skills - responsive, friendly, organized;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, performance systems, and analysis tools is a plus;
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in high-volume environments;
  • Willingness to work within deadlines.
