Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Data Centre Technician to join our team. As a Data Centre Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation.

This role involves:

  • Assisting with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
  • E nsuring the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
  • Reacting to Building Management System alarms, and completing emergency repairs as needed.
  • Working with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Alerting management if subcontractor performance doesn't meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement.
Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Training in a Technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
  • Able to Meet the physical requirements of this role.
  • The ability to effectively present information to an internal department, client, management and/or colleagues.
  • Able to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
