Job Title

The role of IT Operations Manager is a key position within our organization, requiring a professional with exceptional coordination and service delivery skills.

This individual will serve as the internal liaison between the business and our managed service providers (MSPs), ensuring seamless service delivery and aligning with business needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring MSP performance, coordinating internal IT initiatives, and maintaining oversight of IT infrastructure, security, and compliance.

Additionally, this role will involve leading on infrastructure projects such as network upgrades, server migrations, and cloud transitions, while also contributing to IT strategy and governance.

Responsibilities
  • Internal Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the business and MSPs
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on MSP performance against SLAs and escalate issues as needed
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate internal IT initiatives, projects, and escalations with the MSP
  • Infrastructure Oversight: Maintain oversight of IT infrastructure, security, and compliance
  • Infrastructure Projects: Lead on infrastructure projects such as network upgrades, server migrations, and cloud transitions
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT coordination, service delivery, and vendor management
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity principles
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to interpret technical issues and translate them for non-technical audiences
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience working with or within an MSP environment
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, and endpoint management tools
  • Previous experience managing vendor relationships and service escalations
  • Project management experience, including coordinating cross-functional IT initiatives
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement
