The Regional SHEQ Manager is a key role that requires leading and driving a culture of health, safety, and environmental excellence across multiple locations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to meet business objectives and ensuring excellent levels of health, safety, and environmental performance.
This position involves leading the SHEQ team to support operational directors and managers, providing training, motivation, and development to deliver requirements of their roles. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing safety policies and programs, including training processes and procedures, and researching market developments in relevant areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop Strategic Plans: Create and implement strategic plans to drive health, safety, and environmental excellence across multiple locations.
- Lead SHEQ Team: Lead the SHEQ team to support operational directors and managers, providing training, motivation, and development to deliver requirements of their roles.
- Implement Safety Policies: Implement safety policies and programs, including training processes and procedures, and research market developments in relevant areas.
Safety Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-conformities, maintaining accident report files and investigating corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements:- 5+ Years' Experience: 5+ years' experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience in leading a health & safety culture transformation in a multi-location, technical and operational-led business.
- Qualifications: Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma level (or relevant degree) in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management, with evidence of CPD and experience in improving management systems.
- ISO Standards Understanding: Understanding of ISO Standards with auditing experience and ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
