Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead capital projects in a live operational environment.
  • Engage contractors to meet project controls and contract administration requirements.
  • Manage design consultants to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Review and approve design documentation produced by consultants.
  • Support project delivery on time and in accordance with key milestones.
  • Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure completed projects meet quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate work packages from design to construction to handover.
  • Inspect on-site construction works to ensure compliance with design requirements.
Requirements
  • Engineering qualification with 10+ years' experience leading capital projects.
  • Registration with a professional body such as the Institution of Engineers of Ireland (IEI).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Experience developing project schedules and managing change.
  • Technical understanding of design and construction from ground works to commissioning.
  • Good understanding of quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Knowledge of current construction regulations and requirements.
  • Experience with design software and construction management.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret tender documents and specifications.
