
Home Care Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Carer to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, providing high-quality care and assistance in their own homes.
Job DescriptionThe Carer will be responsible for delivering personal care, toileting, meal preparation, and medication supervision to our clients. They will also be expected to observe, listen, and engage with clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the Carer will be required to manage their time effectively, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. They will also be expected to communicate any changes or concerns related to client needs or care to our office staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A minimum of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent;
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and customer service.
- Competitive rate of pay up to €19 per hour;
- Flexible working hours to suit your availability;
- Mileage allowance (fuel bonus package);
- Free Manual Handling training for staff;
- Paid travel time (taxable) at €1.00 per 1-hour visit;
- Fuel bonus (non-taxable) up to €175 per month;
- Double Pay on Bank Holidays;
- Promotions available for Senior HCA/Rapid Response/Community Carer/Office opportunities.
