Senior Payments Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payments Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity based in Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin.
About the RoleThe Senior Payments Analyst will be responsible for the preparation and review of monthly consolidated P&Ls and balance sheets for internal commercial reporting purposes and for Group consolidation. Additionally, they will maintain financial ledgers and accounting processes, ensuring balance sheet integrity.
The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between our team and other stakeholders, overseeing, supporting, and managing key business processes throughout the year. This includes project managing month-end and year-end cycles, internal and external audits, from an accounting and controlling standpoint.
- Coordinating and managing key stakeholders and contributors both internally and externally;
- Maintaining a rigorous control environment with appropriate documentation and compliance testing;
- Identifying areas for control improvement and working with business partners to implement change;
- Ensuring compliance with all accounting, tax, and legal requirements across the countries in the region;
The successful candidate will also assist the Financial Controller International on the ongoing development of our finance function's ways of working and its support of commercial operations.
