Seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Health Care Assistants in the Cork area.

As a Health Care Assistant with our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting clients to remain safely and happily in their own homes. The successful candidate must possess:

  • QQI level 5 - Care skills and Care of the Elderly
  • Be fully reliable and dependable
  • Full clean driver's license and use of your own vehicle
  • Be flexible and have a can-do attitude
  • Have a caring and kind disposition providing a person-centered approach to the client
  • Good communication skills and practical skills
  • Some experience and training is desirable
  • Weekend and evening work required

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Provide high standards of emotional, social and personal care to clients
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures
  • Accurate record-keeping
  • Continuous training and upskilling applicable to the role
  • Implement the client's care plan
  • Provide practical and emotional support to clients in a professional manner

Experience:

  • HCA 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Certificate in care skills or healthcare support (desirable)
  • Driver's license (preferred)
  • Full clean driver's license (required)
