Job Title: Events Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Events Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that all events run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assist in the management of daily event operations, ensuring that all functions meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • To oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including the placement of linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware according to event specifications.
  • To monitor and develop team member performance, providing supervision, rostering, and evaluations, as well as delivering recognition and rewards.
  • To ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar function, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • A strong knowledge and passion for food, beverage, and banqueting, guest care, and hospitality.
  • The ability to manage all cost controls, such as food cost, labor, etc.
  • Experience in staff training, rotas, financial reporting, stock control, and ordering.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • The ability to handle pressurized situations and busy periods.
  • Flexibility, innovation, motivation, adaptability, and a driven individual.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
