Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment Specialist

Job Description:

A key role exists to lead the development and execution of Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessments (EWRA) for Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CTF), Sanctions, Market Abuse, Anti-Bribery & Corruption.

This specialist will contribute to the global Compliance Risk Management Program, conducting ongoing risk assessments across new and existing products, markets, and regions. They will build and maintain control inventories and compliance documentation, partnering with business, regional, and product teams to implement and assess controls.

  • Lead the EWRA for AML/CTF and adjacent areas, identifying and mitigating emerging risks.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with changing laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate on policy/procedure creation that mitigates compliance risk, promoting a culture of integrity within the organization.
  • Regularly report on risk appetite performance, highlighting out-of-bound risk levels and recommending adjustments.

Requirements:

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
  • 5+ years of compliance experience in regulated financial institutions.
  • 2+ years specifically in compliance risk or EWRA frameworks.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong grasp of AML/CTF frameworks, risk appetite settings, and control monitoring.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical risk analysis for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and able to function effectively in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.
