We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee the production process and ensure seamless execution of daily operations.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of operatives, maintaining quality standards, and troubleshooting machine issues. Key duties include optimizing processes, setting up or removing moulds, and ensuring compliance with company policies and product specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high-quality products are produced according to agreed specifications
  • Maximize output without compromising quality
  • Mould changeovers, machine maintenance, fix breakdowns, fault finding, and process optimization
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop employees to achieve maximum output
  • Train employees on responsibilities and refresh training where required
  • Manage employees fairly and refer disciplinary matters to management
  • Complete performance appraisals of operatives
  • Comply with company policy and procedures and ensure cleanroom and hygiene regulations are followed
  • Provide safety training to employees
  • Organize and plan production to ensure cost-effective and efficient operation
Requirements:
  • Strong technical background, ideally as a fitter or mechanic by trade
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with injection moulding machines is an advantage
  • Hardworking, adaptable, and proactive with prioritization skills
  • Resilient and able to meet challenges head-on
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
