About This Role

We are seeking an accomplished financial leader to oversee our UK and Ireland operations. As the Head of Financial Control, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on financial reporting, managing working capital, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is a key leadership position that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of finance and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting across the UK and Ireland.
  • Proactively manage working capital, currency requirements, balance sheet, pensions, payroll accounting, and taxation.
  • Oversight of external relationships with banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team on strategic financial decisions.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA)
  • Experienced with UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
  • Adept to SAP R/3 and the Microsoft Office suite
  • A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • A commercially aware leader who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment
