Job Overview

Ryanair, Europe's Largest Airline Group, is recruiting a Reliability Engineer to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic organization that is expanding its operations to over 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.

The successful candidate will work closely with Boeing, Airbus, and OEMs to drive reliability improvement into the company's operation. They will participate in reviews with worldwide operators and influence reliability priorities.

The Technical Services Reliability Engineer will work within a dedicated team and provide support in the following areas:

  • Reviewing and analyzing maintenance data relating to components and systems, identifying and resolving reliability alerts, and finding solutions for repetitive delay causes.
  • Performing detailed cost/benefit analysis of reliability improvement options and making recommendations to the direct manager.
  • Reviewing manufacturer and OEM Service Bulletins relating to reliability improvements and making recommendations on the benefits of their implementation in the fleet. The engineer will also liaise with Boeing, Airbus, and equipment manufacturers on the resolution of technical issues.
  • Analyzing aircraft dispatch reliability and creating technical reports.
Requirements
  • A degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or a B-1/B-2/CAT A license.
  • Good technical knowledge of the B737ng, A320, and B aircraft.
  • A flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of AMOS would be preferable.
  • Computer literacy, with working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
