Shipping Operations Manager

Customer satisfaction is a key performance indicator for this role, requiring effective planning and execution of shipping operations to meet customer demands.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
Key Responsibilities:- Packing and Shipping Coordination:
- Ensure timely shipment preparation and coordination with logistics providers.
- Liaise with customer service teams to address customer concerns.
- Hazardous Materials Handling:
- Adhere to dangerous goods procedures when shipping hazardous materials.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Verify and submit accurate shipment details and paperwork to logistics agents in a timely manner.
- Operations Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Develop and maintain knowledge of best practices and industry standards related to shipping and logistics.
- Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Shipping.
- Certifications and Qualifications:
- IATA certification in shipping hazardous goods or similar qualification/experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and forklift driving experience.
Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Fridays: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
