Accounting Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting professional to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, and supporting various financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and ensuring timely submission.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Support end-of-month accounts receivable process, including generating and issuing sales invoices.
  • Conduct daily reconciliations, escalating any issues to senior accountants.
  • Process and monitor corporate expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure accurate financial data and support business decisions.
  • Support external audits and respond to queries from auditors.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to finance system updates and integrations.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in technology-led finance operations and fintech industry developments.
