Datacenter Professional

We are seeking an experienced Datacenter Professional to join our team. This is a temporary role centered around the maintenance and deployment of data center, server, and network hardware.

The successful candidate will be engaged in troubleshooting hardware issues and managing large-scale infrastructure builds under tight deadlines.

This includes addressing server, network hardware, and infrastructure issues as they arise, ensuring smooth data center operations.

You will participate in the deployment of large-scale infrastructure projects, often with tight timelines.

In addition, you will diagnose and resolve connectivity problems related to copper or fiber cabling, ensure fast and efficient repairs, and deliver clear and professional technical information.

You will utilize internal ticketing systems to efficiently manage and resolve technical issues, while providing excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities will include receiving, tracking, and deploying server and network hardware, monitoring and managing on-site spare parts inventory to ensure availability and organization.

Additionally, you will perform racking, cabling, and installation of both server and network infrastructure, coordinate additional services as needed, and follow established processes to enhance system stability and performance.

You will update documentation such as port maps, rack layouts, and asset records using DCIM and power management tools.

It is also your responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures within the data center environment.

Furthermore, you will deploy infrastructure solutions that support the company's growth while mitigating risks and maintaining scalability.

You will work collaboratively across different teams and departments to align infrastructure with broader business objectives.

Your tasks will include conducting routine maintenance and physical part replacements for servers and network infrastructure.

Lastly, you may be required to travel to other data center locations to assist with additional projects as necessary.
