Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Science Team Lead to lead our efforts in developing and implementing strategies that drive impactful business results across the global organization.

This role requires a passionate leader who can disrupt the status quo and use advanced data science techniques to tackle complex fraud challenges.

You will be responsible for leading a dynamic team focused on developing and implementing innovative fraud detection solutions that push the boundaries of current technology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide a team of data scientists in developing and executing fraud prevention strategies through advanced detection models and algorithms.
  • Own a business domain and lead data-driven risk management strategies to support our global business objectives.
  • Track and evaluate the performance of fraud detection systems against key KPIs and business goals, ensuring alignment with broader organizational priorities.
  • Tackle complex, ambiguous business problems on fraud domain, driving the planning and execution of long-term projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with product and platform teams to create scalable, secure, and innovative products that enhance the experience for our global customers.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent), with 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Experience working in the fraud domain, with a demonstrated ability to take personal ownership of complex challenges. Industry experience in payments, e-commerce, or financial services is preferred.
  • A quick thinker with a fast learning ability, broad general knowledge, and a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
