Job Summary

This is an opportunity to work in a technical support and training environment. We are seeking an IT professional with a strong background in day-to-day IT operational management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the overall technical support and training of staff.
  • Oversee all IT security aspects of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and policies.
  • Balance technological and capacity resources to meet company and employee needs.
  • Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory and security standards.
  • Develop IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
  • Run and share regular operation system reports with management.
  • Provide direction for team members.
  • Mentor and train team members and new staff members.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years experience in IT with a strong background in day-to-day IT operational management - covering Infrastructure, Systems, Networks, Active Directory, Cloud Services, Data and IT operations.
  • Operational experience in key infrastructure technologies such as firewalls, switches, storage, virtual software and servers (Windows).
  • Experience/knowledge in IT security.
  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
  • Networking.
  • Knowledge of SQL and databases.
