Lead Bid Writer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Bid Writer to lead and coordinate the preparation of compelling, high-quality proposals for major infrastructure projects.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a flair for persuasive writing, and can manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines with confidence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission.
  • Write, edit, and tailor bid content to align with client requirements and win themes.
  • Coordinate input from technical, commercial, and operational teams to develop cohesive proposals.
  • Manage bid timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed to a high standard and on time.
About This Role

You will be responsible for managing a team of bid writers, developing and maintaining a library of reusable content, case studies, and CVs. You will also conduct reviews and quality assurance of bid submissions and support post-submission activities.

Your Qualifications
  • Proven experience in bid writing and/or bid management, ideally in infrastructure or consultancy sectors.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management tools.
