Senior Psychology Lead

This is a challenging and rewarding senior psychology lead position for an experienced principal specialist psychologist. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, significant experience in psychology, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main Responsibilities:- To develop and evaluate a research programme examining the needs for a psychology service for children with neuro-muscular conditions.
- To deliver high-quality patient and family-centred psychological assessment and therapeutic services in a paediatric specialty.
- To work closely with the core research team, including the Principal Investigator, PhD research student, senior and staff grade psychologists.
- To conduct clinical audit, research, and supervision skills.
- A recognised honours degree in psychology.
- A recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Psychology, such as clinical, counselling or educational psychology.
- A minimum of eight years postgraduate professional experience in psychology, inclusive of time spent in training, with at least three years at senior grade.
- Relevant training and experience in psychological assessment and intervention skills for patients with a wide range of psychological difficulties.
- Demonstrate competence in clinical audit, research, and supervision skills.
