Senior Psychologist
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced professional to provide high-quality psychological services to adults with intellectual disabilities in North Kildare and West Dublin.
Psiychologists work collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver person-centered, compassionate care that meets the unique needs of our service-users, their families, and frontline staff.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing psychological interventions, including assessments, therapy sessions, and support planning.
They will also contribute to team meetings, participate in service development, and engage in research and evaluation activities to enhance practice.
A strong focus on continuing professional development is encouraged, with opportunities to access training, supervision, and mentorship.
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in psychology, such as Clinical or Counselling Psychology, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar capacity.
In addition, they should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, service-users, and their families.
Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland or equivalent from another jurisdiction.
Minimum 5 years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology.
This position offers a competitive salary package, paid in accordance with the HSE Consolidated Pay Scales.
Clinical supervision structure and opportunities to provide supervision to psychologists in training/Staff Grade psychologists are available.
