Job Overview

The Technology Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of best practices, processes, and strategies for business-led purchasing and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement technologies and systems, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an overall strategy and roadmap for business-led buying, aligning with strategic procurement objectives and broader business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to bring more spend categories under management, driving efficiency and cost savings.
  • Design and implement standardized processes, policies, and guidelines for business-led buying, ensuring consistency and best practices across the organization.
  • Act as subject matter expert for procurement technologies and systems, overseeing system performance and supporting implementation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their specific buying needs and adapt processes to meet those needs while maintaining overall coherence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent training or experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field, with a focus on strategic sourcing and process improvement.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects and driving change within an organization.
  • Strong understanding of procurement technologies and systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
