Job Overview

This role involves leading a multi-site Irish business, building strong relationships with regional finance in the UK, and providing leadership to a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall ownership of the finance function, including management accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, transactions, audit, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Overall ownership of the finance function, including management accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, transactions, audit, and compliance
  • Implement and maintain robust internal compliance and controls
  • Maintain relationships with external audit and coordinate year-end audit
  • Provide leadership and expertise on technical accounting situations
  • Manage commercial accounting
  • Provide leadership, direction, and management to your team

Requirements

  • Low value, high volume stock experience
  • Proven experience of assisting in the growth strategy of a business
  • Experience of reporting to an MD and board
  • SAP S4 HANA is desirable
  • Excellent relationship builder with finance and non-finance
  • Proven business strategist and adviser
