Seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead our construction project in Co. Dublin.

Job Description

We are a leading international engineering and architecture firm with a team of over 3600 people, delivering complex capital projects across various sectors.

  • Safety
    • The safety of all personnel on site is the top priority.
    • Collaborate with the Construction Manager to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
    • Oversee compliance with the Construction Safety & Health Plan and Environmental Management plans.
    • Coach the workforce on best safety practices.
  • Scope
    • Familiarize yourself with the contract scope, technical documentation package, and fabrication/supply/construction program.
  • Coordination
    • Monitor daily site activities to ensure contractors complete their contracts safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
    • Coordinate work between contractors and stakeholders.
  • Quality
    • Maintain quality standards by implementing contractors' Quality plans.
    • Conduct daily inspections to ensure required standards are met.
    • Witness tests or inspections as required.
  • Commercial
    • Understand the contract, pricing agreement, and scope of work.
    • Advise the Construction Superintendent and Contracts Manager on field variations, scope changes, or potential additional costs.
Requirements

We seek candidates with:

  • A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Additional professional qualifications in Engineering or Construction/Project Management desirable.
  • At least 10 years' experience managing large-scale construction projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in specialized industrial sectors, including Life Sciences, Food, Mission Critical & Data-Centres.
  • Proven track record of promoting exemplary health and safety standards on large-scale construction projects.
