Ecology Consultant Opportunity

As a leading consultancy, we are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage ecology contracts and deliver high-quality services.
  • Conduct ecological fieldwork and species/habitat surveys.
  • Prepare Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).
  • Lead the preparation of Appropriate Assessments (AA), Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), and Biodiversity chapters for EIARs.
Requirements
  • Degree in Ecology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4/5 years' experience in consultancy.
  • Full membership (or eligibility) of CIEEM, CIWEM, or a similar professional body.
  • Strong technical report writing and project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish wildlife and conservation legislation.
  • Full clean driving licence (required for site travel).
