We are seeking a skilled and organized professional to join our team as an In-Person Event Specialist. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for the smooth execution of in-person events that support social impact activities, experiences, and events.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Coordinate event details, including setup, logistics, and staffing">
  • Prepare for events by attending virtual planning meetings with all parties involved">
  • Take ownership and responsibility of in-person events, ensuring high-quality customer experience">
  • Represent Visit.org at events, leading and problem-solving as needed">
  • Manage check-in process, provide a warm welcome to guests, and troubleshoot issues as they arise">
  • Escalate issues to the Events Team when necessary, providing updates and photos throughout the event">

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and strong communication skills">
  • Based in Dublin, Ireland, with schedule flexibility for contract work on a per-event basis">
  • Experience in complex, large-scale events and smaller executive-level intimate events">
  • Resourcefulness, ability to exhibit grace under pressure, and solutions-minded approach to ambiguous situations">
  • Self-starter who is organized and detail-oriented">
  • Able to wear many hats and take on varied tasks and projects">
  • Comfortable interacting with large crowds">
