Manufacturing Production Lead

This Team Leader role plays a pivotal part in fostering better engagement and output within the team.
The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and direct the production operatives, bringing energy and focus to drive a people-first approach.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the team of production operatives in a respectful and consistent manner.
- Run daily team briefings and provide clear direction for the shift.
- Manage daily production scheduling and ensure optimal allocation of staff.
- Proactively coach team members during downtime to maintain value flow.
- Monitor team performance, attendance, and attitude; take corrective action when needed.
- Collaborate with maintenance and planning to minimize downtime and ensure smooth material flow.
- Drive lean manufacturing behaviors and encourage continuous improvement thinking.
- Implement non-bonus incentives to boost team engagement and morale.
- Report issues, suggest improvements, and track key production metrics.
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
A strong understanding of production scheduling and lean manufacturing principles is essential.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills are also required.
