Finance Business Partner Role

As a financial strategist, you will be responsible for leading the planning, analysis, and reporting of expenses across countries in the APAC Europe region. This involves building strong partnerships with country finance teams to understand business strategy and operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish relationships with country finance teams to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Analyse and monitor business unit-level expenses to identify areas for improvement
  • Drive quarterly closing, accruals, and reporting in coordination with local Financial Controllers
  • Lead budget and forecast cycles to inform business decisions
  • Deliver consolidated performance commentary to senior leadership to inform strategic planning
  • Develop intuitive expense dashboards for business leaders to facilitate data-driven decision making
  • Manage indirect expense allocations in partnership with specialist teams
  • Track and report on the financial impacts of harmonisation and growth initiatives
  • Maintain COUPA/SAP approval matrix and ensure timely invoice processing
  • Refine cost centre structures across regional and central teams
  • Act as the go-to contact for all expense-related matters in APAC Europe

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Extensive experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or Commercial Finance
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritise in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator with executive presence
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and planning/reporting tools
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
