Electrical Control Systems Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team.

As a key member of our Power Generation and Energy Systems group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for power generation and energy-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing electrical control systems and instrumentation for power generation and energy systems.
  • Developing detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Producing drawings, wiring schematics, lists, and data sheets using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
  • Developing PLC and SCADA software for control and monitoring systems.
  • Overseeing the installation of control systems and instrumentation equipment.
  • Collaborating with technicians and contractors to ensure proper implementation.
  • Undertaking Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.
  • Commissioning of control systems in the field.
  • Mentoring Graduate & Junior Engineers.

Requirements:

  • Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years' experience in electrical or automation engineering.
  • PLC Programming Experience: Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Schneider.
  • HMI/SCADA Experience: Siemens/Rockwell/AVEVA/Schneider.
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring.
  • Experience with control networks and communications systems (Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet).
