About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled German Language Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Language Services department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of all German content.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Own the quality and consistency of all German content for games, including gameplay, in-game UI, multiplayer, live events, and marketing assets.
- Drive transformation through AI and automation, implementing new post-editing, translation, and review workflows to raise speed and quality.
- Partner with Project Management, Localisation QA, and other Language Specialists to ensure German content is authentic, player-focused, and on-brand.
- Be a go-to expert for terminology, style, and cultural adaptation, helping the team and external vendors solve problems and deliver results.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a German Translator/Language Specialist, ideally in the games industry.
- Demonstrated experience in post-editing and reviewing MT output is highly desirable.
- Experience using CAT tools such as memoQ.
- Familiarity with automation tools and AI-driven workflows is a plus.
