At Ryanair, we are seeking a highly skilled HR Specialist to join our team in the German market. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in human resources and employment law to make a significant impact in our fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on all HR matters relating to our German-based employees, including legal cases, union meetings, and payroll coordination. They will also ensure compliance with German labour law and collective agreements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with all HR matters relating to German-based employees
  • Ensuring compliance with German labour law and collective agreements
  • Preparing documentation and supporting legal case management and litigation processes
  • Liaising, supporting, and advising management at all levels across the business on all HR-related matters
  • Conducting regular reviews and administration of payroll changes in line with German legislation

In addition, the successful candidate will provide weekly reports to the HR Manager on all HR activities and issues. Travel to Germany may be required for employee/union meetings and base visits.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 1 year's experience working in HR, with a strong knowledge of German employment law and HR best practices. Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is essential, as is a relevant HR degree or masters. Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills are also required, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced and pressurised environment.
