Catering Assistant Job Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced catering assistant to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to work, and the ability to multitask effectively.

The role is based on a full-time basis with 3 days' leave per week.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist chefs with meal preparation and service to residents.
  • Participate in day-to-day kitchen cleaning duties.
  • Support chefs with daily tasks as required.
  • Set up dining rooms for meals.
  • Prepare meal trays for room service.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years' experience working in a hospital or nursing home setting.
  • Excellent English language skills (written and verbal).
  • The ability to adapt to new environments quickly.
  • A valid work permit to work full-time in Ireland with no restrictions.
