Job Opportunity

This exciting opportunity is for an Oceanographic Modeller to deliver modelling products for the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver modelling products.
  • Collate, analyse and report data for the Atlantic Basin Checkpoints project.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience running and maintaining numerical hydrodynamic and biogeochemical models.
  • Specific experience with NEMO and PISCES models is desirable.
  • A third-level degree in Physical/ Biological Oceanography or a related discipline is required.
  • Advanced IT skills including experience working in a Linux environment and background using Fortran programming and scripting languages such as Matlab, Python or similar are essential.
