Recruitment Opportunity for Oceanographic Modeller

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oceanographic Modeller to deliver forecasting products for the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service and contribute to data collation, analysis, and reporting for the Atlantic Basin Checkpoints project.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement forecasting models for CMEMS
  • Analyze and report data for the Atlantic Basin Checkpoints project
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in running and maintaining numerical hydrodynamic and biogeochemical models
  • Specific expertise in NEMO and PISCES models
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical/ Biological Oceanography or related discipline
  • Advanced IT skills including Linux environment experience and Fortran programming
