Overview

This role involves assisting in the administration of payroll across various jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of fortnightly and monthly payrolls for Ireland, Europe and UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate weekly timesheet data on our Time Management System (NTD) and verify accuracy
  • Calculate wage payments based on NTD readings, liaise with project leads to rectify any discrepancies
  • Manage annual leave entitlements and employee benefits
  • Prioritize strict adherence to deadlines in the payroll process and Revenue submissions
  • Work closely with HR to maintain continuous flow of relevant data across functions
  • Process new starters and leavers on NTD
  • Act as first point of contact for staff payroll queries
  • Maintain all records and files
  • Produce monthly reports and returns and reconcile same

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years proven experience
  • Payroll qualification or previous experience working with payroll is desirable
  • Previous experience working with multi-jurisdictional (European) payroll would be advantageous but training can be provided
  • Experience using computerized payroll software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications especially Excel
  • Analytically minded with excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, multitask and meet multiple deadlines
  • Knowledge of basic principles in Employment Legislation or statutory entitlements
