Financial Reporting Role Overview

This is a senior-level position within the accounting and finance team, responsible for leading financial reporting processes. The candidate will have a strong background in the financial services industry, with expertise in funds financial reporting and stakeholder management.

  • Prepare and finalise financial statements for clients in the financial services industry;
  • Manage statutory and regulatory reporting processes;
  • Resolve complex GAAP/regulatory queries;
  • Build relationships with client representatives;
  • Liaise with investment managers, fund accounting teams, and auditors;
  • Assist or lead team supervision, performance management, staff development and training;
  • Drive system enhancements and reporting efficiency;
  • Promote business growth and service development.

The ideal candidate will have ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent IFAC qualification, with 3-5 years PQE experience in auditing or preparing financial statements. Proficient knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Irish GAAP, and Luxembourg GAAP is required, along with excellent attention to detail and issue resolution skills.

  • Strong computer skills – advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • ERP system experience, such as Geneva, Investran, Oracle, SAP, or Workday – desirable;
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills;
  • Ability to learn quickly and stay updated on industry developments;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong project management skills; energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
