Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician II to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in data analysis and process improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about optimizing processes and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The role will involve preventative maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as continuous improvement initiatives to achieve maximum availability and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance & Calibrations: Ensure the optimal performance of mechanical and electrical systems through regular maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting services for automated controls, electrical equipment, and mechanical systems.
  • Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including equipment histories and work schedules.
  • Cross-Skilling: Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and competencies, including cross-skilling and job-related qualifications.
Requirements
  • Apprenticeship or Qualification: Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in mechanical/electrical/multiskilled trade.
  • Industry Experience: Relevant experience in a regulated industry, preferably in medical devices or a similar field.
  • Drawing Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings would be advantageous.
  • SAP System: Experience with SAP-based Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and electronic Maintenance Request Systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
