French Language Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled French Language Specialist to join our team in Cork. As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for localizing our French-language domains, assisting French customers, and ensuring that all touchpoints are seasonally and culturally relevant.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Localising all website copy, including product descriptions and new features, with translations, measurements, cultural references etc, using a range of internal tools.
  • Ensuring that key touchpoints including the Homepage and Top Navigation are seasonally and culturally relevant.
  • Localising onsite top landing pages and experiences, and optimising for organic traffic, including keyword research and the creation of SEO copy.
  • Providing language support in creation or optimisation of SEM paid search campaigns.
  • Scheduling calendared discounts, and adapting for the local market.
  • Localising & QA marketing emails and new or updated trigger/canvas campaigns.
  • Assisting the Customer Care team by answering French language enquiries.
  • Maintaining French language Zendesk articles so they are up to date and accurate.
  • Monitoring 3rd-party review sites, responding to or escalating issues when needed.
  • Completing local competitor research on pricing, marketing campaigns etc.
  • Supporting all other teams with French language support when required.
About You
  • Native French speaker, also with excellent communication skills in English.
  • Translation and copywriting skills, localising English to French.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn and use lots of new tools.
  • Organised and excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEM Rush and other marketing tools is a plus.
