Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work as a PCB Test Technician in a leading electronics manufacturing company. The role involves testing and debugging of electronic motor controllers, analysis of production and returned assemblies, and collaboration with production and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • To test and debug electronic PCB Assemblies and Systems using schematics, layout drawings, assembly drawings, procedures, and specifications.
  • To use various test equipment such as Digital Multi-Meter's, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, ESS Chambers, and vibration tables for test and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics components and circuitry, including analogue, digital, and power electronics, to test and debug a variety of Electronic PCB Assemblies and Systems.
  • Perform failure analysis for production and returned assemblies and provide feedback to support teams for process improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.

Requirements

  • A minimum Level 6 Qualification in Electronics Engineering or related discipline is required.
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in an ISO9001 regulated environment.
  • Experience and/or qualifications in Lean are an advantage.
