The OpportunityThis role requires a Senior Manager with expertise in alliance and collaboration accounting, reporting processes, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional business partners, supporting accounting, control, and reporting activities for the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end alliance and collaboration accounting and reporting processes.
- Prepare and/or review monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities for assigned accounts.
- Analyze and prepare variance explanations.
- Review and onboard new collaboration arrangements and manage day-to-day collaboration-related financial activities.
- Collaborate with teams including Alliance Management, FP&A, Corporate Development, Technical Accounting, Legal, and internal/external business partners.
- Extensive experience in big four training is preferred.
- A Chartered Accountant (ACA) or equivalent qualification is required.
- A degree in accounting or a related field is necessary.
- Experience in multinational organizations and biotech/pharmaceutical industries is desirable.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including US GAAP and SOX, is essential.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills are required.
