New Business Development Consultant

The role of Senior New Business Consultant is to advise clients on various pre and post-retirement products, protection and pensions. This includes meeting clients, generating leads, project work, providing advice to new and existing client base, managing and building relationships, developing new business opportunities through internal and external channels, achieving targets and team goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions;
  • Generating leads and converting them into sales;
  • Project work to deliver results-driven outcomes;
  • Providing advice to new and existing clients to ensure they achieve their financial goals;
  • Managing and building strong relationships with clients;
  • Developing new business opportunities through internal and external channels;
  • Achieving targets and team goals by working collaboratively with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Previous consultative financial planning or employee benefits experience;
  • QFA qualification or working towards CFP, or Higher Diploma in Pensions Management leading to AIIPM qualification;
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building client relationships;
  • History of delivering sales targets;
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements;
  • Background in generating corporate leads;
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships and trust;
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills;
  • Team player with focus on working together;
  • Minimum 3 years' industry experience.
