Job Title: Accommodation Assistant

A highly skilled and dedicated individual is required to join our team as an Accommodation Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in bedrooms, public areas, and linen.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in bedrooms, public areas, and linen. You will also ensure rooms meet a 4-star standard prior to returning them to reception.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean assigned rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to the highest standards.
  • Restock bathroom and bedroom items according to company standards.
  • Change bed linen and towels to agreed schedules and standards.
  • Maintain accommodation trolleys, caddies, and storage presses.
  • Return lost guest property to the supervisor.
  • Alert the supervisor to any needs or issues.
  • Maximize resource use while minimizing costs.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Liaise with supervisors regarding room moves, VIP guests, and special needs.
  • Inform supervisors of room status regularly.
  • Participate in training and meetings to improve standards and performance.
  • Communicate hotel services to guests.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally.
  • Adhere to personal hygiene and grooming standards.
  • Report accidents and DND/No Service situations daily.
  • Keep corridors free from debris.
  • Be responsible for key cards and report any issues.
  • Comply with Fire, Security, Health, and Safety Procedures.
