Culture and Engagement Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for building a positive organizational culture and engaging employees to drive business results. The Culture and Engagement Manager will lead the development and implementation of strategies to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, integrity, service excellence, and transparency.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and deploying employee surveys and/or facilitating company-wide post-survey action planning. They will be able to project manage and meet deliverables, exercise professional judgment, and demonstrate strong facilitation, conflict management, and consensus-building skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Development and Implementation of Culture and Engagement Strategies: Collaborate with senior leadership to set priorities for engagement and define required outcomes; specify and manage the collection and analysis of data to inform needs.
  • Foster a High-Performing Organization: Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve engagement among employees, aligning with our values and mission.
  • Develop Leadership Capability: Utilize our leadership competency framework to build leadership capability throughout the organization, including leadership assessment and development tools, initiatives to develop leadership capacity, and promoting good leadership practice.
  • Manage People and Stakeholder Relationships: Proactively engage with key stakeholders to foster collaborative relationships, positively lead, motivate, and encourage, while maintaining momentum in a challenging operating environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Five Years Professional Experience: In culture, leadership development, employee engagement, organizational design and development, or other related HR disciplines.
  • Experience in Designing and Deploying Employee Surveys: And/or facilitating company-wide post-survey action planning.
  • Strong Communication and People Skills: Verbal, written, and listening.
  • Exceptional Organizational Skills: Multi-tasking capabilities and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to Project Manage and Meet Deliverables: Exercises professional judgment and demonstrates strong facilitation, conflict management, and consensus-building skills.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Third-Level Qualification: Degree or equivalent desirable.
