Job Title: Health & Safety SpecialistWe are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity within a Pharmaceutical organisation in Dublin.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance to the site on Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) matters.
  • Support ongoing EHS projects to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, company standards, policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
The role involves SME support in General Safety and High Risk Work Programs.Duties include:
  • SME support in General Safety and High Risk Work Programs.
  • Participate in local safety teams, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and other safety programs as required.
  • EHS representative for risk assessments, change management impact assessments, training delivery, and contractor management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or related field of study.
  • >7 years of EHS, Engineering, or Operational experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, biochemical, petrochemical, or process-related industries.
  • Proven track record of influencing others, strong knowledge of safety programs, and excellent communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • High Risk Work program (Electrical safety, LOTO, Hot work, confined space etc) and Contractor Management experience.
  • Ability to maintain focus on key goals and priorities while analysing detail for problem resolution.
