We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing client portfolios, and completing tax compliance work.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Preparation of financial statements for the Group.">
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.">
  • Completion of tax compliance work, including VAT, corporation tax, and income tax returns.">
  • Assisting with management accounts, forecasting, and budgeting for clients as required.">
  • Reviewing work prepared by team members, providing mentorship and support.">
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights for decision-making.">
  • Develop and maintain detailed budgets and forecasts for projects and business operations.">
  • Work closely with operations to ensure budgets are adhered to and deviations are explained.">
  • Conduct rolling forecasts and scenario analysis to anticipate financial risks and opportunities.">
  • Liaising with various departments, Directors, clients and stakeholders, offering professional advice and guidance on accounting matters.">
  • Oversee month end, yearend cycle.">
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.">

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Qualified Accountant.">
  • 5+ years' experience.">
  • Motor Industry experience desirable.">
  • Proficiency in accounting software.">
  • An in-depth knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.">
  • Practical Tax Return preparation experience.">
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.">
  • Strong attention to detail and with an ability to use own initiative, manage multiple deadlines and maintain confidentiality at all times.">
