Job Title: Financial Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Services Specialist to oversee and ensure the quality of external and internal cash payments in accordance with strict deadlines. The successful candidate will work closely with team leaders and partners to guarantee that all client service standards and regulatory requirements are met.

About This Role
  • Input, approval, and QA checks on redemption, subscription, dividend, commission, and rebate payments against tight currency deadlines.
  • Ensure queries are answered in line with department procedures.
  • Work queue management and completion within relevant deadlines.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings and huddles.
  • Support the team in monitoring mailboxes to ensure all queries are completed within the service level agreement.
  • Contribute to the improvement of quality through procedural reviews and enhancements.
  • Fulfill additional, relevant tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.
  • Participate in client visit meetings as required.
Main Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in financial services is desirable.
  • Customer Service experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to review and resolve complex issues working under pressure meeting challenging deadlines.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Effective verbal reasoning and numeric skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of working within a regulatory environment.
  • Good Team Player.
