Job Title: Counsellor/TherapistService Overview:

The HSE Counselling Primary Care (CIPC) service in South - Cork City and County is seeking Accredited Counsellor/Therapists to provide short-term counselling in primary care settings to medical card holders aged 18 years and over. This role offers an opportunity to work with adult survivors of childhood trauma, providing them with the support they need to overcome their experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide trauma-informed counselling contracts to clients.
  • Work under the governance of the HSE National Counselling Service.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A recognised Level 7 qualification in a relevant human science discipline or equivalent in a health and social care profession or health-related profession.
  • At least two years of post-qualification experience, with full accredited membership with IACP or a relevant body within ICP, or hold a post-graduate qualification in counselling psychology or clinical psychology recognised by PSI.
